Most people are super excited when they first hop into network marketing. They think, "I'm going to show my mom, dad, best friend, cousin, uncle, favorite auntie, etc, and they are all going to jump in because THEY NEED the second income!" Then, they show everyone they THOUGHT would sign up, and guess what, none of them do! Can you guess what happens next? They get discouraged. THEN, they start to show facebook friends, distant friends, etc, and they do not get the response that they THOUGHT they would get. Guess what... This happens, and it happens OFTEN. WHEN this happens, YOU CANNOT GET DISCOURAGED! The reality is most people we know do not fully understand what network marketing is, and that is IF they have ever heard of it, in the first place. So, you will find out that as you share this opportunity you WILL get some objections.

 

 

Remember: Most people only know of two types of people-

1) They know of the people that have all of the time in the world BUT no money!

                                                                                                                              OR

                                                     2) They know of the people that have money BUT no time!

 

We are saying this to say that, for most people, you are introducing a totally new concept to them. The idea of a person achieving financial freedom AND time freedom is weird to them because THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS TYPE OF PERSON BEFORE; the idea has NEVER crossed their minds. Most broke people think that if they want to make more money, they have to work MORE hours or get a SECOND job. By this point, YOU know this is not true.  By this point, you know that 2 jobs are for 2 PEOPLE! But guess what... most of you did not always know that either. So, when you are dealing with people that ARE where some of you once were, do not get aggressive or throw insults. As a matter of fact, let them do the most of the talking. Let them explain why they feel the way that they feel. Then after they are done, respectfully say your part. NOW, some people may understand after you explain, BUT there will still be those people that just do not. WHEN you encounter those people, just remind yourself that IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT! At the end of the day, a person cannot achieve what his/her mind cannot conceive! Most people just were conditioned to NOT think outside of the box.
